“I built the Sister Rita Mudd Activity Center with my own hands and would like to see this new high school built with my family’s help. I’m not getting any younger and want to get it built soon.”

Stewarding Tradition, Inspiring Vision
The Twite Family

The Twite Family has a long history in Missoula, both in philanthropy and development, beginning with the Linda Vista Development started by Jack Twite in the 1950’s. Today, both Jack’s son, Lloyd, and grandson, Scott, continue building out Linda Vista and contributing to projects in Missoula, including Missoula Catholic Schools Foundation, as well as several other local projects.

Lloyd is a 1962 graduate of Loyola Sacred Heart High School and attended St. Anthony Catholic grade school, and then paid for his own education at LSH because he saw the value in pursuing a Catholic education. Lloyd and Cathy’s daughter Debbie graduated from LSH in 1984 and is now the math teacher at LSH. Their son and business partner, Scott, is also a 1986 graduate of Loyola Sacred Heart. Lloyd and Cathy have watched their grandchildren continue the family tradition of attending Missoula Catholic Schools - all five grandchildren have graduated from St. Joseph’s and LSH.

The Twite family is proud to see Missoula Catholic Schools thrive and give generously of their involvement, strong Catholic faith and financial support. Lloyd and Cathy were part of the giving community that donated to the Sister Rita Mudd Activity Center and seized the opportunity to be the first investor for the Tradition with a Vision Capital Campaign. Through God’s providence, the Twite family have made a cornerstone gift to the campaign and desire to inspire others to give generously to help us realize our vision of a new Loyola Sacred Heart high school campus. Together, the Missoula Catholic Schools Foundation and Twite family endeavor to make Missoula Catholic Schools the best college preparation school in the area.
